Il Colombaio as it's name suggests, was a farmhouse with a dovecot. Today the house is restored to a high level and furnished with an element of contemporary design and comfort unusual in rental properties in Italy. It is beautifully finished and offers all modern conveniences making it an ideal place for individuals, groups and families.
Il Colombaio has 4/5 bedrooms, four bathrooms, a first floor living room with fireplace, downstairs sitting room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
The house stands in its own grounds of olive groves and gardens with terraces, and plenty of exterior spaces for dining or sitting quietly. The house has a pool, external shower room and laundry room. The house is on a hill and enjoys a peaceful situation with stunning views over the local landscape.
Facilities:
Terraces which offer outdoor dining and sitting areas with wooden furniture extend the use of the house during fine weather.
The pool is 9 x 4 meter mosaic tiled with a travertine sun terrace, and can be heated on request. For this there is an additional charge of approx 30 euros daily.
The house has been recently refurbished and has comfortable furniture, a fully equipped modern style kitchen for contemporary living. There is a compendium of games, music systems, television with DVD, satellite, telephone and internet access.
The locality of the house within Tuscany makes it an ideal place from which to explore the local countryside by foot, bike or by car. There are thermal baths near by at Rapolano Terme with various beauty treatments and relaxing cures. The property is ideally situated for day visits by car to Siena, Florence, Cortona, Perugia and Arezzo, whilst the vineyards of southern Tuscany and Chianti, and medieval hilltop towns are an easy distance away. The local towns of Asciano and Sinalunga offer the closest grocery stores and local amenities, restaurants and pizzerias of differing levels.
Bedrooms:
The house has three double bedrooms, a single study bedroom, and a mezzanine twin bedded room. Two of the double rooms are en-suite, the third double and the single study bedroom have bathrooms adjacent to the rooms. There is a shower room in outbuildings by the pool.

Services:
Included in the service of the house is maid service mid-week providing room make up and light cleaning duties. There is a weekly linen change. Should you require additional cleaning services this can be arranged on request.
Additionally on request a cook service is available for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Extra help with laundry, shopping and babysitting are also available.
