The house capacity is 15 people in total:
A beautiful remodeled farm house nested on top of a hill and surrounded by cypresses and grapes.
Originally built in 1700, the house was restored in 1923, when it has been bought by a family who moved to Tuscany coming from Venice area. They were stone dressers by tradition and they also sculptured the altar in the S.Martino's church (5 min walking from the house), and the big stone cross placed at the beginning of the road to welcome the visitors to the hamlet of Agliati.
The rooms:
The four lovely rooms with private bathroom can host up to 10 people. They are large, comfortable and furnished with our old family items. The large garden and the beautiful wisteria porch offer a special spot of peace to relax or enjoy your meals.
A magic circle of century cypress trees offers the perfect spot for meditation or reading.
All our rooms have their private bathroom. Each room has a different name:
Biancaluce, which faces north and the mountains. White is its color.
Aqua, pale blue, like the sea towards which it is oriented.
Aurora, watching the sunrise: pale pink and pale yellow, romantic.
Mezzogiorno, like the sun on its zenith: yellow and full of joy.

The beauty of Podere il Poggione, with its 360° of view invites you to stay in relax and enjoy the sourroundings, walking on the paths and visiting ancient hamlets. But its favorable location helps you also to reach the main art sites of Tuscany. Florence and Pisa are 40 min. far, Lucca is reachable in 50 min. and in 1h. you can be in Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano. Are you looking for suggestions for a nice place to visit: just ask Paolo.
