A restored farmhouse designed in the Tuscan tradition: so you'll find stone walls, terracotta tiles floors, and characteristic wooden square shaped windows. The home is situated in a range of hills with a panoramic view of the Volterra valley. Mediterranean bushes and oak woods surround the building and follow on all the way to the sea.
The appartment that will accomodate you is situated on the main floor of the farmhouse: you'll reach it by stepping up onto the ancient stone stairs. There is a huge dining room and living room, with a big chimney. A short passage leads you to a large double bedroom with a magnificent landscape of the ""Rocca di Pietracassia"", continuing down the corridor a twin bedroom and still further a magnificent large doublebedroom with bunkbeds, a large french window giving onto a charming unspoilt tuscan landscape also an ensuite showeroom. At the end of the corridor a showeroom. On the left side of the sitting room you can reach two other bedrooms (both doubles) and a comfortable bathroom with shower. From the window you can admire a little hill of aromatic herbs.
The house can accomodate 12 in 4 bedrooms. It is possible to use a little camping-bed for children from zero to three years.
The garden that surrounds the house has no borders and is limited only by the wonderful woodland. A table and garden chairs are provided and there is a beautiful and big wooden table for breakfasting outside. In the wide meadow it's possible to play and laze around in the sunshine. The outside area is avalaible for everybody. You can explore the horses paddocks or enjoy a typical italian barbecue under a starry sky! Animals are accepted, but we would ask that they be kept under strict control.
