Description:
Rose Cottage is part of a working farm, is private and has it's own separate entrance and parking.
It has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two beds which can be joined, and two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room.There is an outdoor eating area which overlooks the sea.There is also air conditioning and satellite TV.
Whilst there is no swimming pool, as being in the Maremma National Park prohibits construction severely, the sea is very accessible from the cottage.
There are multiple beaches accessible either by car or by boat. The property has direct access to its own little rocky bay that can be reached in 15 minutes by 4 wheel drive or with a 40 minutes trek.
Boats can be rented in the Port of Talamone giving access to numerous beaches within the immediate surroundings. The island of Il Giglio is within a 45 minute boat ride, or 3 hour sail, and offers unusual swimming and fabulous seafood restaurants.
A ferry boat service is also available to all islands.
Canoe excursions on the Ombrone River inside the Maremma National Park are always available.
Deer and Wild Boar are often spotted outside the fence of the compound in the early morning hours or during the night grazing and watering.
There are two golf courses located within a 15 minute drive, including the Argentario Golf Club with an 18 hole links course, and several clay court tennis facilities that can be organised within a 10 minute drive.
The Maremma National Park is a place of much beauty and abbundant wildlife and we are honoured to be able to offer such an area of outstanding beauty.
